    Broadhursts is the oldest independent bookshop in the North of England and one of the oldest in the country. Since it's foundation in 1920 the business traded continuously on four floors. The ground floor is occupied by our new bookshop with the other three floors consisting of and extensive children's books department, eight rooms full of second hand books and two rooms of rare books. We carry over 100,000 titles covering a very broad range of subjects. We also recently added an annexe to house our extensive range of aviation and military titles.
