Cogito Books nestles in a cobbled street only a stone's throw from Hexham's ancient Abbey. It is a place in which people like to linger; classical music plays quietly as customers browse the tables and shelves; 'a haven of peace in a busy world'. There are no piles of best-sellers and our recommendations come from our own extensive reading. Passion for books and excellent service make Cogito an integral part of this market town.
